Robert Aston Jr. TowneBank’s chairman and CEO, will now serve as Chairman of the Board for the Hall of Fame. Formerly, he served as board president. He will be joined on the Executive Committee by the new board vice president David R. Tynch, an attorney and president of Cooper, Spong, & Davis, PC in Portsmouth.
Executive Committee members still serving the Hall of Fame include Ray Tate of Richmond, Kenny Easley of Norfolk and Nancy Wren of Suffolk.
Also, after a restructuring of Hall operations, Eddie Webb has been named President of the Hall of Fame, expanding his responsibilities. He was previously Executive Director of the Hall.
