Hall of Fame Hosts First Wedding A new team was formed at the Virginia Sports Hall of Fame on August 13 when Julia Godfrey and Mike Carpenter (at right) celebrated their wedding with a reception in our Sports Gallery (below).
Julia dances professionally for baseball and hockey teams (Milwaukee Brewers and Milwaukee Admirals) and Mike was star quarter back in high school and college. They were drawn to the Hall because of their love of sports... and each other.
We at the Hall wish them the very best and look forward to hosting their 50th anniversary some day.
